Ask your community!
Invite local businesses to support the cause! Consider asking local restaurants, wineries, breweries, pottery shops – any place that incorporates local musicians/bands – to offer a special to benefit the Give a Note Foundation. Do you know a home-party consultant? Present them with the opportunity to assist you in your fundraising efforts.
November is National Philanthropy Month. Invite businesses to run a special every Saturday and Sunday during the month of November while local musicians play at their venue. We suggest a special of $5-$10. All proceeds go to the Give a Note Foundation.
Let’s say 100 people visit a business each day. If only 50% purchase a special, you will still be able to bring in $500 per weekend per venue.

Ask friends/family members to donate as a holiday gift!
Everyone wants to give a meaningful gift during the holiday season. Why not invite your loved ones to make a difference with you? Ask your potential donors if they would consider donating as a gift to you! After they submit their donation, they will receive an elegant envelope and letter provided by Give a Note to present to you as a holiday gift!
Appeal to their appetite!
Have a good old fashioned bake sale! Bake a variety of goodies and sell at your place of work, your child’s sports games, or at your place of worship. Who can resist a delectable treat?
