MIOS Tour – Stapleton Public Schools
On April 1, 2016 we brought the MIOS Tour to Stapleton, Nebraska. Stapleton is a small town north of North Platte, Nebraska -population 307! It was a complete surprise to the students of THE school in Stapleton that they WON the North Central division voting for the tour. The music teacher, Mr. Daniel Gibbs, is a first-year music educator. He is fortunate to have an extremely supportive principal/superintendent and a talented community of students!
Tour stop #3 featured Radio Disney’s Nate and the very talented and gracious Megan Nicole. Nate connected with the students immediately – sharing with them that he had been in just about every music ensemble in high school. He is still passionate about making and playing music. Megan performed three of her hit songs for the students. It was a fantastic evening! Congratulations to Mr. Gibbs.
